There must be something in the genes - for both Baby Cub and Papa Bear were both caught red handed fiddling with Mama Bear's pump parts.
One sure-fire way of catching Rebecca's attention is to start up the pump. She would almost instantly stop whatever trouble she was busy getting into and crawl towards the pump. It has become a nightly custom for her: Mama Bear reaches home, washes hands, gives her hugs and cuddles and proceeds to start the pump.
Rebecca will then crawl towards the site of the 'operation' and proceed to push, pull the pump, pull out the tubes, fiddle with the bottle caps...generally lending a hand where a hand is not absolutely required.
A joy to watch...really.
Just not that great an experience for the one who's trying to get things done.
Rebecca's attention can also be caught by verbally going: EEEEEEEEEeeeee....OOOOooooooo.....EEEEeeeeeeee....OOOoooooo....(for the benefit of those who have been spared from being in the presence of a pump, this is really how it sounds like).
Try it the next time you see her and see how her eyes light up.
