A trip to the mall

Papa Bear is in Europe this weekend with Uncle Sunny, so I decided to bring Rebecca and nanny to the nearby Brilliance mall (友谊商场) to get some air. This mall is really near our place, about a RMB13 cab ride.

Rebecca perked up when we started to change her. As usual, it took a good 20 minutes to get this little one changed. She was very excited during the cab ride - big eyes and silently sitting on nanny's lap observing the passing scenary.

It turns out that there is a sort of children's entertainment center on the top floor of the mall and we took her there. She was entralled by the lights and noise and I contemplated bringing her on some rides, but decided to let Papa Bear do the honors instead when he gets back.

So these pictures are just "for show".

She was very happy to have been out of the house and fell asleep about 7pm after her porridge dinner. After a short 15 minute nap, she woke up again and joined us for dinner - in her highchair - chattering away. At 8, she decided enough and went to bed.
