We were in a cab and so I decided to teach Rebecca how to say "BUS"...which is a good thing, as now she can say BUS. I did learn NOT to teach her 2 things at once though...as it will only confuse her, and unfortunately, this lesson was learnt the hard way.
Me: Rebecca, say BUS
R: Ba...sssssssssssss
Me: Bus
R: Baa......ssssssss
Me: Great! Darling, do you love Jesus? (this is in preparation for her baptism this December)
R: (eyes big big, stops a while to think...) Baaaa......ssssss
Me: (The ever determined mom) Rebecca, do you love Jesus? (*whispers*...say "yes")
R: Baaa.....ssssss
Ok..now you get the idea?
