Dress Joy

A parcel had arrived at home one afternoon last week and it sat on the table, waiting for me to open. Nanny had told Rebecca that it likely contains a dress that I had gotten her. When I stepped home that evening, R excitedly led me to the package and we both tore the package open.

It was a lovely dress and my joy was outdone by the little one's. She excitedly gestured and muttered to hold the dress and we tried it on. We could see that she was very pleased with how she looked and she even preened and danced for us around the hall. It was a real joyful moment. She is truly MY daughter.
